Here Are A Few Questions to Ask Before You Join A Club

What is included in a membership? What amenities or services other than fitness equipment are available for my use?

Some of these may include basketball, pools, tennis, racquetball, squash, over 150 free group fitness classes per week, aqua classes, free small group training, locker rooms and towel service, steam room and sauna, whirlpool, baby-sitting, indoor track, etc.

Professional Instruction – A wide variety of professional instruction is available to members of the Healthplex. This includes – but is not limited to - personal training, tennis, swimming, racquetball, squash, volleyball, and basketball. All professional instruction is given by Healthplex employees. No outside instructors or coaches are allowed to provide any type of professional instruction or any activities that resemble professional instruction. The Healthplex Sports Club reserves the right to permanently revoke membership and/or club access to individuals engaged in such activities.

Other Amenities include - Free Wi-Fi throughout the club. Overhead music system with TV's and personal viewing screens on the equipment. Free parking in our 4-level indoor parking garage. Please note some club areas may require an additional court fee or lesson fee with instructor. 

Does the club offer specialty classes such as yoga, Pilates and indoor cycling? Will I be charged extra for these classes?

We have a 12-month agreement option and also month-to-month membership option for those looking for more flexibility. Click here for more on membership.

What is your cancellation policy?

The Healthplex® Sports Club cancellation/freeze policy is as follows: A minimum of thirty (30) days written notice is required for cancellation/freeze of a membership agreement. Cancellation/Freeze of the Membership Agreement shall be effective on the first day of the month following the expiration of the thirty (30) day period. Cancellation/Freeze shall not relieve the Member of his/her responsibility to pay any dues accruing before the effective date of cancellation/freeze and any fines assessed against the Member for late payment(s). The thirty (30) day notice requirement does not apply to cancellations/freezes described in paragraphs 10-13 of the Membership Agreement. Can my spouse and/or children be included on my membership?

Yes, we currently offer single and family membership options. Click here to learn more about membership.

Ask for the staff credentials.

Ask if members of the staff have college degrees in their field. Look for personal trainers that are certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
