Two area gastroenterologists have become part of the Crozer-Keystone Health Network. Charles Hurwitz, D.O., and John Seedor, M.D., joined Crozer-Keystone Gastroenterology Associates in January 2019. Both have privileges at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa., and Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, Pa. They will continue practicing at 204 E. Chester Pike in Ridley Park, across from the Taylor Hospital campus.

Hurwitz earned his medical degree at the Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He completed a residency at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital and a gastroenterology fellowship at Albany Medical College. He has also served as associate professor at Des Moines College, New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry, and Stratford Hospital in New Jersey.

Seedor earned a medical degree from Hahnemann College, completed an internship and residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center, and a gastroenterology fellowship at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. He is a member of the Delaware County Medical Society.

Both Hurwitz and Seedor are board certified, have longstanding reputations in the Ridley Park medical community, and have been named Top Doctor for gastroenterology in Main Line Today.
