An annual physical exam is a great way to ensure you and your healthcare providers are informed about your health and will help you to stay happy and healthy. But making time for your routine checkup with your regular primary care provider can be difficult. By visiting Crozer-Keystone's urgent care clinic in Broomall, you can get your regular checkup at your convenience – no appointment needed.

The regular health exams and tests performed during routine checkups can help identify risk factors and problems before they start. If an issue is caught early, there is a better chance that your treatment will be effective.

Some of the tests during your exam will check:

  • Height and weight
  • Blood pressure
  • Heart rate
  • Temperature
  • Vision
  • Hearing

Sports Physicals

Proper safety starts before the first game, or even the first practice, of the season. During a sports physical, our urgent care physicians ensure students are in good health and proper physical shape to participate in school sports.

The student will have his or her height, weight and blood pressure measured as well as their skin, ears, eyes, nose, throat, neck, breasts, lungs, heart and abdomen checked.

The physical gives the student an opportunity to check their health status, learn how to stay healthy and plan on what to do if problems arise or injuries occur during the season. It also gives the doctor an opportunity to learn about the student’s past and current health status.

Department of Transportation (DOT) Physicals

Our urgent care providers are licensed medical examiners for DOT physicals.

During a driver’s physical examination, medical examiners look for more than just the basic physical requirements for operating a commercial motor vehicle. They must verify that drivers possess a strong vision and hearing and have no medical history that would interfere with safe driving. The examiners also confirm that the driver has no diagnosis for substance abuse and takes no medication or substance that would interfere with their driving.

A DOT physical exam is valid for up to 24 months.
