Programs and Services

Imaging & Diagnostics

Crozer-Keystone Health System offers the latest in diagnostic and pathologic equipment and techniques to diagnose cancer at its earliest stages.

Medical Oncology

Medical oncology is the treatment of cancer using medication and treatment methods other than radiation. Working closely with other cancer specialists, medical oncologists provide primary cancer treatment, continuous follow-up, consultations and help to create plans for cancer management.

Radiation Oncology

About half of all people who develop cancer receive radiation therapy at some time during their illness. This treatment involves the use of high-energy ionizing radiation in the form of X-rays, electron beams or a combination of each.

Surgical Oncology

A wide range of surgical specialties are represented at the Crozer-Keystone hospitals, including general, colorectal, gynecologic, head and neck, neurological, ophthalmologic, orthopedic, plastic, thoracic and urologic surgery.

Interventional Radiology

Interventional radiology uses blood vessels as a pathway to diagnose and treat certain diseases - including cancer or abnormalities of arteries, veins, or organs. Interventional radiologists work closely with referring physicians to perform procedures which may benefit the cancer treatment.

Recovery & Support Services

Crozer-Keystone cancer patients can expect treatment for both body and mind. We treat your medical condition, and at the same time address your needs for emotional balance, physical comfort and quality of life.

Prevention & Wellness

Crozer-Keystone Health System offers a multitude of programs and activities designed to lower the risk of cancer and detect cancer at early stages.

Outreach and Education

Our goal is to educate the local community about the importance of early detection of cancer. Crozer-Keystone staff surveys Delaware County and the state to identify the most common cancers. Using this data, we develop community outreach and education programs. Current efforts focus on breast, colorectal, prostate, skin and lung cancers.

Research and Clinical Trials

The Crozer-Keystone Cancer Centers have an active Cancer Research Program, which has grown steadily over time. Research endeavors include clinical trials dealing with the prevention and treatment of cancer.

Fox Chase Crozer-Keystone Cancer Partnership

This partnership gives patients broader access to Crozer-Keystone and Fox Chase Cancer Center physicians, as well as new clinical trials and programs related to cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Patient-Centered Cancer Care

Crozer-Keystone Health System’s patient care navigators offer education, support and resources to help cancer patients overcome any barriers that may prevent them from getting the services they need.

Navigators are trained nurses who coordinate a care plan for patients from initial testing to consultation with surgeons, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists. They focus on educating patients and families, facilitating communication with other physicians, finding appropriate support groups and offering aid in insurance matters.

This assistance is FREE – there’s no charge to you or your insurance company. Our patient care navigators, based at our three regional cancer centers, support patients at all Crozer-Keystone hospitals.
