Childbirth Education Programs

Classes include information from pregnancy to newborn care and breastfeeding, and everything in between.The key to good health that lasts a lifetime begins before your baby is born. We offer tours of The Maternity Center, as well as a variety of maternal/child health education classes to help families prepare for the birth and care of an infant.

Childbirth Educators

Every nurse educator has experience in the field of obstetrics and special certification as a childbirth educator. These professionals are sensitive to the individual needs of each parent they encounter.

Upcoming Events

  • Breathing & Relaxation Therapies for Labor

    This class helps prepare the expectant mom and her birth partner with breathing and relaxation techniques to use during labor.

  • Perinatal Loss Support Group

    Anyone who has experienced a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or infant death is invited to attend our free monthly UNITE Support Group.

  • Family & Friends CPR

    This CPR program is intended for expectant parents and grandparents, babysitters, or anyone caring for children.

  • Breastfeeding

    An overview of breastfeeding basics, including benefits, proper positioning and helpful tips. This class is perfect for expectant parents and their support team members.
